I have seen many businesses fail to make a success of their E-business due to a few myths that have business owners hypnotized by a few myths. At the end of the day if you have a business offline that you want to integrate online there are a few myths you need to be aware of.  

Firstly having an online business like any business isn’t a quick money scheme blueprint that will generate you revenue instantly. There isn’t a magic pill to success. Most online business start of from a foundation as months go along with hard work you will in turn see the results. This however like any other business takes it time. This is why many potential online entrepreneurs give up and fail. They expect to see instant results.

Internet Marketing like any other marketing form is a job that requires you to put in the time effort and commitment. The biggest stigma is people expect to see sales after their website is launched. WRONG- If you don’t send traffic to your site you will not see conversion. You need to put in the time daily to get results. This isn’t an easy process it requires hard work

A lot of people expect to have no cost having an online business. This isn’t the case. Like any existing business you will have costs apart from your hosting and domain set up. While you can control the cost on your website you still expect to have some sort of expenditure.

A lot of clients come to me and ask me if the market is saturated to have an online business. At the end of the day it really comes down to market research, supply and demand. You use the same economic principles before you set up an online business. You need to identify if there is a demand for your product, identify your competition and validate your market and niche.

You also don’t need to be a large company to see the profit line. I have seen small businesses that have launched a few months ago that are bringing in 6 figure incomes. At the end of the day with the right guidance and training you could build a successful e-business.

Finally Internet Marketer’s biggest enemy is procrastination. You don’t expect to see your business grow or operate if you don’t manage it. You control your destiny and in many ways you write your checks when having an online business. For some it’s a wake up call for others its simply a revenue stream!
