At the end of the day every sales person has a different technique on how they close a sale and acquire their commissions but we all have one thing in common. Sales is 95% a mental game and in many ways you need to be mentally fit. You need to be comfortable in your element, your abilities and how you look at yourself. If you are happy with who you are and how you look at yourself it will help you present yourself in a more confident and convincing manner. If you can handle rejection or you are having a bad day and you let it get to you this isn’t the industry for you!
You might be working for a company in sales but at the end of the day you are responsible for your success, you are in charge of your time and make the most of it. You are self-employed to yourself as you write your commission checks. People with tardy habits rarely succeed in sales. At the end of the day you set the time and you put in the work. That’s how the bills get paid. Take charge of your life!
Always take the time to get familiar with the product and always learn new strategies and techniques to help you improve your methods and perfect your ways. A good strategy is to learn the strengths of all your fellow sales people and apply it in your sales pitch. This will in turn help elevate your game!

Always asks questions and listen to your clients needs. When selling, influencing your prospect to make a decision so you need to look for buying signals. All sales people will tell you that conversation between you and the customer is essential to get them to make a buying decision.
Staying positive and building a trusting personality is key. You need to always be professional and always have a positive outlook on life. You need to be the solution not the problem. When you start thinking this way you will in turn notice a chance in how people respond to you!
Remember selling is all about influencing your prospects! Get in the habit of following these routines and you will notice an increase in your sales commissions!
